Why We Created the Estate Blend

One of the most common questions we receive from new customers is simple: "I have a French press at home but my parents use a South Indian filter — which coffee should I buy that works for both?" The Beans: Coorg & Chikmagalur Arabica

The Estate Blend draws from multiple Arabica lots across Coorg and Chikmagalur — Karnataka's two foremost coffee-producing regions. Rather than selecting a single lot (as we do for our Mysore Nuggets single-origin), the Estate Blend intentionally combines complementary lots to create consistency and balance. Coorg beans contribute body and chocolate notes; Chikmagalur beans add brightness and sweetness. The result is a coffee more stable across seasonal harvest variations than any single-origin could be.

All beans in the Estate Blend are washed-processed, which gives the blend its clean, approachable character. Unlike the 80:20 Filter Blend which adds chicory for the traditional South Indian experience, the Estate Blend is 100% Arabica — giving you the full, unadulterated flavour of Karnataka coffee without any additives.
